A view of badly damaged vehicle in which a minor youth was killed.
Machhiwara, December 1, 2015: A pall of gloom descends in village Powat when a minor youth of the village was killed in a road accident on Machhiwara-Kohara road near village Bhama Kalan. The deceased was identified as Satinder Singh(17) a resident of village Powat.
As per information Satinder who was the only son of his parents was coming towards Machhiwara from Kohara in an Indigo car. When he reached near village Bhama Kalan suddenly he lost control on his car and his car struck with the road side eucalyptus trees. The accident was so fierce that the car was badly damaged and Satinder was hurt seriously in the accident. He was extracted from the damaged car with great difficulty by some passersby and 108 Ambulance was informed. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Machhiwara where he was declared brought dead. The body of the deceased was sent for post mortem and will be handed over to his parents after post mortem.
Satinder who was the only son of his parents had celebrated his birthday yesterday with his friends on November 30 and entered in 18th year but today he died due to accident. / (SK Shourie, Khanna)
