Ludhiana, February 24, 2013: A free dental check- up camp was organised by Nav Sanjeevani Foundation at Dental Lounge Clinic on Cemetery Road here on Sunday.
Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh, Vice President, Shiromani Akali Dal, inaugurated the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh said that because of bad eating habits, adulteration and pollution, the dental problems were seen even among the school children. He said that the SAD-BJP government was also laying more stress to create awareness among the students by organising such check up camps in schools. He also stressed upon the need to timely get the dental problem checked by the expert dentists, so that, these could be redressed at the earliest.
In the camp, the team of Dentists headed by Dr. Pooja Mehra checked more than 200 patients and provided free treatment and medicines to the needy patients.
Among others, Sunil Mehra, senior BJP leader, Rajinder Bhatia, Darshan Arora and Dr. Kamaljit Singh Sohi.
