MP Kirron Kher meets family members whose four year old daughter was raped and murdered

Chandigarh, April 13, 2015: Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament from Chandigarh today personally met the family members, whose four year old daughter was raped and murdered in colony No.4. She had this meeting at her office today at 2:30 PM so that the identity of the victim family is not revealed. She expressed great sympathy with them. During the discussion, the MP contacted the Advisor and SSP, Chandigarh on phone and discussed the matter with them. They assured that the culprit will be arrested very soon as the police is making all possible efforts in this regard.

She also asked Danish Ashraf, SDM (East), who was present in the meeting, to ensure that the victim family is given adequate compensation and a job for one of the family member by the Chandigarh Administration.

Kirron Kher assured the victim family that justice would be done to them and there will be no laxity to deal with the anti-social elements. She also asked the authorities to ensure that such incidents should be curbed with iron hands.
