Nancy wins Face of the Year Award 2013

Chandigarh, 29 December, 2013: Nancy was announced the winner of the ‘Face of the Year Awards 2013’ at the Grand Finale held at Country Farms in Zirakpur near here late last night. She also won the Best Personality title. The first runner up award went to Rashmi, while Sumanjeet Kaur was selected as the second runner up of this annual mega event of the region.
In the sub-titles award categories, the Beautiful Skin title went to Smriti Rattan Bhardwaj, and the Best Hair title was won by Srishti Kohli. The Body Beautiful title went to Neelam Kaur and the Best Cat walk title went to Sumanjeet. Pratima Thakur was selected for the Best Talent award and Prachi won the Miss Photogenic award. Namya Shroff got the Best Costume award and Preet Kamal was selected for Best Eyes.
Two categories of sub-titles were shared by two contestants each. They were Rashmi and Pooja for Best Smile, and Manpreet Kaur and Kiran for the Perfect 10 title.
The event was organized by SMC Bizz, an advertising, events, production and designing house, which was earlier known as Studio Model Creator. The agency boasts of contributing many faces to the fashion and glamour world, i.e. Kangna Ranaut, Divya Khosla, Anmol Gill, Salina Prakash, Sophie, Ritvi, Alisha Didi, Joana Maggi, Reet Bhullar and Radhika, among many others.
The mega event was promoted by Himmat Ventures, the producers of hit Punjabi Movie “RSVP”. Make up, Hair Do and Grooming was done by VLCC and the contestants were seen dazzling in exclusive collections of LIBAAS, and Sidharath Agicha from New Delhi.
Sunil Bansal, Director & Founder, Face of The Year Awards said, “More than 200 entries were received, out of which 24 contestants were shortlisted and finally 20 girls took part in the fashion event. The event was started in the year 2000.”  
The panel of judges comprised top personalities from media, entertainment and fashion industry including JD Ghai (CEO, Santabanta.com), Anita Bhatia (Bollywood art director), Sameeksha Singh (Actor), Ihaana Dhillon (Bollywood actor), Bindiya (Center Head VLCC) and Sidharath Agicha (Designer from Delhi-Hong Kong).
The show was choreographed by Mallone Singh and Maneet Paul (DJ Paul Mumbai) gave the music. Nawaab Saab hosted the
