Guwahati: North Guwahati based Narayana Superspeciality Hospital conducted
the OPD clinic at Guwahati Press Club on 11 November, where Dr Soumar Dutta
(emergency medicine) offered free consultations to over 25 participants.
Nurse Dipika Thakuria and health executive Jnyandip Kalita assisted in
conducting the camp. The participants also got the opportunity to check
their blood pressure & sugar.
Organised under the 'Evening with a Doctor' program for the benefit of
press club members along with their dependants, the last Saturday camp was
graced by the city based Excelcare Hospital, where cardiologist Dr Debanga
Bora and general practitioner Dr Sonali Barman were present to offer
consultations.
The next camp on 18 November will be graced by senior physicians Dr Bhupen
Deka and Dr Paresh Sarma from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Till date, practicing physicians from Apollo Chennai Hospital, Chennai SIMS
Hospital, Manipal Bangalore Hospital, Fortis Hospital Bangalore, Medanta
the Medicity Hospital, Down Town Hospital, GNRC Hospitals, Dispur Hospital,
Hayat Hospital, Ayursundra Hospital, Nemcare Hospital, Sun Valley Hospital,
Sight First Eye-Clinic, Barthakur Clinic, Wintrobe Hospital etc have
attended the camps.
