Chandigarh, July 15, 2015: Chandigarh Baking Company, the bakery & cake shop of JW Marriott Chandigarh launched its ‘new menu’ today at a ceremony where they introduced their new Pastry Chef, Shashi Bhuwan Gopal.
 
Launching the new & improvised menu of Chandigarh Baking Company (CBC), Chef Gopal said, “It is an immense honour for me to work for JW Marriott Chandigarh. Residents of tricity are known for their love for variety and quality in food. In the new menu which we are launching today, we have added new elements & colours to enhance the appeal of an already exciting menu of CBC.  We have tried to rope in savouries which capture the imagination and senses of people across all age groups.”
 
At the launch, Jewellery installations were set from lobby till CBC displaying food from CBC and chocolate sculptures along with a Chef present at each installation. A highlight of the event was the live activity of Bamboo Charcoal Croissant by Chef Gopal, a first in the city.
 
Some of the main attractions of the CBC menu will be frozen ice cream cake, bamboo charcoal croissant, chocolate cds, new variety of cakes and pastries, imported candies, new range of chocolates and macaroons, new range bakery products (100% whole wheat bread, rye and walnut bread), sandwiches, salads, specialty chef recipes on retail, chocolate fudge cookies, customized gift hampers, milk shakes, smoothies, frappes etc.
 
Apart from improving and adding upon the offerings in the menu, the upgraded look, feel and content of the menu of CBC is set to pleasantly surprise the guests, engaging them to have a thorough look at it. JW Marriott Chandigarh has added Chef’s secret recipes of spices with their story and signatures to the menu, thus increasing its appeal many folds.
