Ludhiana, January 20, 2016: A new initiative has been taken up by the college authorities and the student council of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana to start up with the donations every Wednesday for a social cause.
Any student or a teacher can come forward any participate in this noble cause and can donate anything OLD such as woolen clothes, shawls, scarves, socks, gloves, blankets etc. every Wednesday the Donation Box will be displayed from 10:00am to 1:00pm
The initiative has been taken up in order to inculcate the feeling of serving the society.
The donations will be further given away to the needy old age Homes, Asylums etc.
Dr. (Mrs.) Mukti Gill Principal on behalf of the college managing committee lauded the efforts of the students and inspired them to become good Samaritans.
