NOZIT-2014 enters second day at DMCH

Ludhiana, March 29, 2014: Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana is witnessing a lot of action these days due to ongoing NOZIT-2014, which enters third day today, said Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina (Chairperson, NOZIT Committee).

 Be it the gaming zone or the stage performances, the fest had all the ingredients to keep the students entertained, said Dr Rajdeep Singh Chhina (Resident Organizer). "It's a really pleasant break from our routine studies,” said Harsimran Preet Singh (Cultural organizer) & Jishu Kaul (Sports Organizer. The second day of NOZIT-2014 began with Instrumental performances, which mixes different genres of instrumental music with pulsing dance rhythms, and new age musical hooks. In ‘Just A Minute’ segment, participants had to talk for sixty seconds on particular topic without repetition or hesitation, which displayed their extempore speaking skills

An array of stage performances like Spontaneous Dances, Solo Dances, Duet Dance and Group Dances earned the students a lot of applause and got them cheers and whistles. The performances in ‘Rap Battery’ segment was a musical and comedy 'tadka' with a wetern versus punjabi rap.

 Last but not the least, various rock band performance in ‘Battle of the Band’ kept the students entertained. The band's rendition of popular numbers had the students dancing and singing along with them.

In star night held yesterday evening at Janpath Estate (South City), one of country’s most entertaining and engaging bands, Eka from Delhi performed to rock the audience.
