Ludhiana, August 12: The process for opening of tenders and allotment of work for the construction of 63 kilometers of rural roads in Ludhiana district under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) will begin from tomorrow.
Disclosing this here today, Ludhiana MP and the National Spokesperson of the Congress Manish Tewari said that under current phase five rural roads have been approved under PMGSY and the work will start immediately after the opening of the tenders.
Giving details, he said, these roads include between Chhokar and Dhoorkot via Jodhan-Narangwal-Lohgarh-Kalakh-Mazri, LF Road to Kokari Kalan vila Galib Kalan Block Boundary, Lakha to Burj Kulara, Pohir to Ahmedgarh via Brahmpura-Chhapaar-Rachie and Swaddi Kalan to Bharowal Kalan-Bhundari.
