OPINION: Another Shocking News!

Ranjodh Singh,
Jaspal Bhatti is the next victim who has been killed, I would say 'murdered' by the poor roads in Punjab. We have a long list, Aditya Jaitely, Giani Zail Singh, Captain Kanwaljit Singh, Amrita Choudhri and Now Jaspal Bhatti, they all lost their precious life due to bad roads and poor infrastructure in India. The roads are narrow and dangerous, traffic is very heavy, no sense of rules and life is at the mercy of others.
We need to think now!
How long we will continue to allow naked murders in society?
Rip to all who died in road accidents...Jaspal Bhatti, we will all miss you and your great style of humour which conveyed many social messages to the Society.
I share your sympathies for Amrita, I did write on facebook about this tragic 'murder' on bad and worst Indian killer roads. Earlier, Aditya Jaitely, a young photo journalist too met with similar fate when he died on the same road.  Amrita, I met her when she got married to my neighbour's son and I have known her as an upright and outstanding person, a committed and honest journalist , she was bold and creative too. She was an ardent admirer of all forms of Art. A passionate and carefree life, full of new challenges in life. Its a pity that she had to died prematurely, only because of poor infrastructure and bad roads. Who can believe in the West that the Capital of Punjab, Chandigarh is approachable by a single lane narrow street, I don't even call it as a road.
We have to all raise a voice, not only to condole the death of Amrita but also for many people who are killed or murdered on these killer roads.
