OPINION: Kejriwal hero or zero without Anna?
Author(s):

Arvind Kejriwal, under all odds and even, hopes, controversies, doubts, fear, risk, danger and apprehensions have announced his political party to which a name is to be given.  Nothing has been said even about the constitution, office-bearers etc. etc.  Anna Hazare is still hold good his statement to remain away from politics.  However, some softness is seen during the last few days  in his attitude.  Possibilities are there that Anna may change his views and come forward openly to support the political party.  It is not impossible and if it is possible, this will give a strong hand to the Kejriwal’s political party.  There are also speculations that Anna may become hard against politics which will be bad for the party.  It is an admitted fact that the real leader of anti-corruption movement is Anna Hazare and all other leaders in the second line are because of Anna.

Kejriwal, who is a now seasoned leader and upcoming leader, knows well about this and that is why, he brought Anna Hazare to lead Lokpal movement from Ralegan Sidhi.  No doubt, the anti-corruption movement has picked under the leadership of Anna but he must be feeling that he has been used in movement at Delhi.  Initially, Anna was in favour of political party but on going back to his home town, he changed his views and did not agree for the political party.  The force of Kejriwal political party could be more stronger with the support of Anna but in politics, one cannot predict one’s mind and see as to what is happening on the other side the wall.  In fact, the present time leaders consider the power and money in politics but politics is not so simple and cannot be one sided.  It this could have been possible, the democracy in India would have been stronger and have developed at par with the global development.

In the coming days, Kejriwal and his supporters might know the actual political game and show respect towards political leaders and for the present, the Kejriwal’s eyes are on the coming elections.  Delhi is a big state and it is easy to make any party instead of forming in some bigger state in India.  But the fate of new party is not so encouraging.  BJP is thinking of coming into power on the basis of opposite parties but another new party can cut down its vote bank.

The most difficult job for Kejriwal will be to select the candidates because the main motto of the party is anti-corruption and in such a situation, to find out the real honest candidates having not even a single blot on their career, would be a difficult task.
