PAKISTANI NATIONAL REPATRIATED

Ferozepur, March 21, 2017: As a goodwill gesture, the BSF handed over a Pakistani national to the Rangers who had inadvertently crossed over into Indian territory on Friday. As per BSF sources, on Sunday at about 9:35 pm, BSF troops deputed at Border Out Post ( BOP) Noorewala, belonging to 191 battalion in Ferozepur Sector apprehended one unidentified Pakistani national, aged around 50 years, who had reportedly accidentally crossed international boundary and reached near Border Security fence. Thereafter, Pakistan Rangers were contacted on yesterday and the apprehended Pakistani national was handed over to them today on humanitarian grounds.
