Chandigarh, February 23, 2017: Panjab University(PU) Football (Men) team secured 2nd position in the All India Inter University Football (Men) championship held at Vidyasagar University-Midnapur from February 13 to 16 for the session 2016-17. The details of the matches are as under:
1. PU beat SRM University by 3-0
2. PU and Vidyasagar University Midnapur by 1-1
3. PU beat Amravati University by 3-2
4. PU Beat LNIPE-Gwalior by 1-0
5. PU beat Burdwan University by 4-2
Sh. Parampreet Singh accompanied the Team as Coach and Sh. Harjeet Singh accompanied the team as manager of PU Football (Men) team in the above mentioned championship.
