Ludhiana, October 7, 2017: As per the directive from Department of Financial service, Ministry of Finance, Mudra Promotion Campaign is being organised from October 2 to 17. Company's stall was arranged at the campaign on Friday at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan, Ludhiana.
The stall was inaugurated by Union Minister of State Social Welfare Department Sh.Vijay Sampla and Joint Director, Department of Financial Services MoF Ms.Bhumika Verma. They praised the efforts of UIIC in the field of general insurance in social sector.
Chief Regional Manager Sh.Angrup Sonam welcomed both the dignitaries by presenting the bouquet.
Manager Sh.Neeraj Sekhri, Deputy Manager Mrs.Usha Grover, AO Sh.Inderjeet Ghosh, AO Ms.Kavita Malik, AO(D) Sh.Harvinder Singh along with staff, officers and advisors of DO 2 and DO 3, Ludhiana were present and overlooked the active participation.
Proactive approach of the team helped to enroll 261 persons under Prime Minister Surksha Bima Yojna (PMSBY) on the first day with different banks.
Event was a huge success and efforts will be continued further, said the authorities.
