POWER SYSTEM & CONTROLS SELECTED 4 STUDENTS OF ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT FROM DAVIET

In continuation of its endeavors to suitably place its students, 04 Students who would pass out in the year 2018 have been placed with Power System & controls at a Salary Package of Rs.3.00 LPA
Power System & Controls is a ISO 9001:2000 certified company having well equipped fabrication, plant, electrical and testing facility. Company Majorly works in CNC wire cutting and stripping machine, automatic bus bar bending machine, shearing machine upto 6mm, press break machine upto 110 tons, 3200 mm length, with Anti Deflection System and turret punch press. Their panels are Mig welded providing high strength/quality with no flux and slag in the welding and all panels are customized, tailor made to client satisfaction supported with 2D Auto Cad GA drawings and SLD's .Company assures their products are stage inspected to maintain quality standards.
The ecstatic students while giving the details of the offer shared that his designation in the company will be Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) and their responsibility will be to work in Production, Research, Design & Development and Quality Assurance .The selected students Ankit Kaushal, Rohit Gaba, Ishan Palta and Chandan Kumar had shared that they had started preparing for the placement drive early and concentrated on developing their interpersonal skills along with the enhancing their knowledge about the core areas. They shared that to suit the needs of the company a special effort was done to learn Autocad, Smart Draw,SLD’s and ETAP.
Mr. Sushil Prashar, Training and Placement Officer appreciated the hard work put in by students and highlighted that special efforts were done to make them ready for Written Test,Group discussion and Interviews. He shared that special guest lectures and workshops were organized from time to time to make the students sharpen their skills to face Technical and HR Persons confidently. He also thanked the Principal for his constant support and guidance. He provided the split of the selected students and stated that students were selected from the Department of Electrical Engineering.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Principal DAVIET congratulated the students on their success. He wished them the best of luck for all their future endeavors’. He highlighted that DAVIETians have always been passionate about placements and special efforts are done to make them industry ready. He stated that the success of selected students stands for the hard work and commitment of DAV administration to provide its students the best possible exposure so that they can make a mark for themselves. He also congratulated the faculty who guided the students and urged them to keep up the good work.
