Prestigious Commonwealth Professional Scholarship awarded to a Panjab University Academician

Chandigarh, May 11, 2017: Prestigious Commonwealth Professional Scholarship awarded to a Panjab University Academician Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh: Dr.Neeraj Kumar Singh, Assistant. Librarian, A.C.Joshi Library, Panjab University, Chandigarh has been awarded the prestigious Commonwealth Professional Fellowship at the University of East London, UK.
Commonwealth Professional Fellowships support mid-career professionals. With a purpose to provide professionals with the opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills in their given sector and to have catalytic effects on their workplaces. Dr.Singh has to his credit the rare honour of being selected for this Fellowship twice, once in 2012 and now in 2017. He has to his credit a number of research papers published in reputed international and national journals.
Dr. Singh will learn about the digital pedagogy practices at UEL and with the exposure to digital literacy, improved version of information literacy programmes can be established for effective utilization of resources and to integrate digital literacy skills into the student learning process and research activities.
