Prof Kamal Chopra, President, AIFMP nominated as Member Development Council for Pulp, Paper & Allied Industries

Ludhiana, May 27, 2017: The Government of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) have established a Development Council for Pulp, Paper & Allied Industries vide Gazette Notification No.S.O 1415 (E) dated 4th May 2017 for a period of two year w.e.f 5th May 2017. The Council meets periodically to discuss issues concerning interests and development of Pulp, Paper & Allied Industries.

Prof Kamal Chopra, President, All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) has been nominated as a Member of the 20 member Council headed by Shri Madhukar Mishra, MD, Star Paper Mills Ltd, New Delhi. The council also has representatives from the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, IIT Roorkee and Paper & Packaging Industries.
