Jalandhar, September 22, 2015: A Project of fountain has been made by the students of Civil Engineering (final year) of St Soldier Engineering and Technical Institute under the supervision of Dr Vijay Dhir, Director-cum-Principal HOD CE Deptt. Er.Suman Preet Singh. Around 68 students put their efforts in making this project successful and they themselves did all the construction of water reservoir and make the stainless steel logo of St.Soldier by laser cutting using their skills.
Amongst them were Amandeep Kaur, Amandeep Singh, Hardeep Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Gagan Chalana, Rakesh, Browny, Navjot, Anjana & Pintu Kumar. Total area of the fountain is about 200 Square feet andtotal approximate cost for the same was around Rs. 85,000/. It took around 3 months to complete the project. Such Projects made by students have proved that they actually are moving towards the professionalism and are making real time industrial projects.
