Chandigarh, August 9, 2013: The Punjab government has today issued transfer/posting orders of 165 DSPs with immediate effect. The majority of the names included in the list are of newly promoted the police officers.
According to an official spokesman, the following Inspectors of Police have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police in PAP Cadre by the State Govt., Department of Home Affairs & Justice (Home-III Br. ) vide their order endst. No. 8/303/2012-3H3/1901 dated 22.07.2013 in the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100+5400 (Grade Pay) on provisional basis w.e.f. the date they take as such (.) In the interest of administration, the following postings amongst these newly promoted Deputy Superintendents of Police are hereby ordered with immediate effect:
