Chandigarh, February 24, 2013: The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shivraj V. Patil, while extending greetings on the eve of Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravi Dass called upon the people to strive hard to create a casteless and classless society as envisioned by Sri Guru Ravi Dass, a great spiritual Ambassador and exponent of Bhagti Movement.
Extending his greetings, Patil said that Guru Ravi Dass occupies a place of pride in the galaxy of holy men, who lived and preached in India and spread a message of peace, goodwill and oneness of mankind.
Describing Sri Guru Ravi Dass, as a divine soul and a great social reformer, Patil said that the real tribute to the revered saint would be to carry forward his legacy to the present and future generations.
