Punjab News- Industrial visits develop corporate attitude among students – Dr. Malhi

Talwandi Sabo, October 4, 2013: In order to make the computer science engineering students aware of the latest technology and know-how in the software applications, students of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo visited ‘One Infotech (OIT)’ at Mohali. Students gathered knowledge about the different phases of software development and procedures followed in outsourcing activities.

Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal, Dean Academics of Guru Kashi University said that such visits strengthen the practical knowledge and also develop the entrepreneur skills which help the students in the professional and personal growth.

Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice - Chancellor of Guru Kashi University stated that such visit and trips develop corporate attitude among the students, which is highly desirable from the professionals in the industry.

Vice – Chancellor also lauded the efforts of Karanjeev Singh, (Training & Placement Officer) of Guru Kashi University and staff of Computer Science & Engineering Department for organising such visits.
