Punjab News/Bajwa greets people on Christmas, pays tributes to Lord Jesus

Chandigarh, December 24, 2013: Partap Singh Bajwa President Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee(PPCC) today greeted the people of Punjab and especially the Christian community on eve of Christmas Day.
In a message on this occasion Bajwa said that the birth of Lord Jesus was celebrated all over the world with great enthusiasm and gaiety. He said that Christian community in Punjab had large presence and the festival has special significance for the people of Punjab. He said that Christianity was a religion which spread the message of peace and communal harmony. He said that he was highly impressed by service of society and mankind done by the Christian brothern.
Bajwa appealed to people from all walks of life to join in celebrations on December 25 and cherish the occasion with all festivities.
