Punjab News/Ninth master gave everything to save humanity: OP Soni

Amritsar, November 24, 2013: Vice President of PPCC and In-charge Majha Zone MLA OP Soni paid obeisance at ‘Guru Ke Mehal’ the birth place of ninth master Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib on His martyrdom day. Entire country is observing the martyrdom day of Hind Ki Chaddar or the savior of humanity today.
Soni along with a few workers paid obeisance and paid tribute to the ninth Guru. The Gurdwara Guru Ke Mehal falls into the central constituency and into the crowded street labyrinth of old Amritsar. As a tribute the Congressmen walked on foot as devotees and pilgrims to get the blessing of the Guru. The Gurdwara management honored Soni and Vikas Soni and discussed the historical importance, langar and sanitation system of the Gurdwara.
As the Congressmen walked back from the Gurdwara, Soni exclaimed that he felt great peace and honor by paying obeisance at the house of Gurus and especially the birth place of ninth master on his martyrdom day. He said that ninth master was the first martyr for human rights who is known as Hind Ki Chaddar or the savior of not only Hindus or Sikhs but of every person and sect. Soni further said that he prayed for peace and prosperity of the region and forgot politics for a few minutes. He said as the Gurdwara fall in the central constituency and being the MLA for this constituency he will try to visit the Gurdwara every time he visits the place.
