Ferozepur, October 30, 2012: The Sports Department Punjab is organising Punjab State Rural Games 2012-13 from November 6 to 8.
Giving this information, Sunil Kumar, District Sports Officer, Ferozepur said, the trial for the games in Ferozepur of athletics, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, hockey, handball, basket ball, wrestling etc. will be taken at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium, Ferozepur on November 1 at 10 AM.
The age limit for participation in these games is minimum 16 years as on 31st December, 2012 and date of birth of the player should after Ist January, 1997.
The candidate participating in the games must bring along with him at the time of trials, a proof of age, attested by the school head where he is studying and those players who are not studying should bring the certificate from the Sarpanch of the village in which they are residing.
The players selected in the trials will participate in the Punjab State Rural Games 2012-13 (Boys) under 16 at Hoshiarpur on November 5 at 10 am.
