Ludhiana, December 30, 2013: The rape accused Punjabi Singer Nachattar Gill was produced in a local court on Monday. The court sent him to 14-days judicial remand.
Gill was sent to local central Jail after the judicial remand.
The accused Punjabi singer was arrested in a rape case registered against him at Police Station PAU. Since his arrest he was in the police remand. Police had asked for his police remand on the plea that it has to recover MMS clips from singer. Besides Gill, a few others were also booked in the case following the receipt of a complaint at PAU police station. A city-based model had filed the complaint against the accused.
Gill was arrested on last Tuesday. The other two accused namely Jagdeep Sohi and Charanjit Singh Channi were also arrested at a later stage.
A case against the accused was registered on June 12 this year.
