Rain and Snow predicted in Himachal for next 4 days

Dharamshala, January 3, 2017: Rain/snow at isolated places is predicted at the higher reaches of Himachal on Tuesday which shall spread to the other higher places with wide spread rain in entire state from Wednesday to continue till 7th January to bring a steep fall in the day and night temperature in Himachal. The fresh bulletin of weather department in Shimla said, “Yesterday's Western Disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation over north Afghanistan & north Pakistan now lies over northeast Afghanistan & adjoining Pakistan at 3.1km above mean sea level and is moving east northeastwards across Jammu & Kashmir during next 48 hours.Another western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation very likely to affect western Himalayan region & adjoining plains of northwest India from 6th onwards shall effect these changes.”
It said that precipitation occurred at isolated places over the state during last 24 hrs. Rainfall: - Dharamshala-2 mm.
No appreciable change in Minimum & Maximum temperatures during last 24 hours.
The lowest temperature recorded at Keylong is (-)5.6°C and Highest temperature recorded at Una is 27.0 oC.
