Rare Eastern Dining (R.E.D.) at Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana Starts Double Seventh Food Festival Marking the Chinese Valentine’s Day

Ludhiana: Rare Eastern Dining, R.E.D the Chinese Restaurant at Radisson Blu Hotel, MBD Ludhiana is celebrating the Chinese Valentine’s Day featuring the traditional delicacies created by Chef Amit Thapliyal and his Team. Dressed in traditional attire the service staff will be lending an aura of eating in a traditional Chinese Outlet. Festival is on till 28th August.

This festival is also called as Double Seventh Festival as it falls on seventh day of seventh month as per Chinese calendar or Qixi Festival. Festival originated from the romantic legend of two lovers, Zhinü (Weaver Maid) and Niulang (Cow Herd)
Chef Amit and Chef Chandan have crafted menu with signature and traditional dishes like wasabi Sole Sui Mai, Crab Asparagus with Seaweed Soup. For main course, Braised Lobster in Chilli Sauce, Mapo Tofu or Seven Treasure Vegetables with Cashew Nuts. Starting with Veg Starters the menu is very elaborate, Vegetable Yakitori, Chilli and Ginger Soy, String Beans with Preserved Vegetables, Crisp Fried Vegetable, Spicy Honey Chilli Sauce, Treasure Vegetable with Bean Curd Sui Mui, Juicy Vegetable Kothey. For guests fond of eating Non –Veg the menu includes, Pan Fried Lemon Grass Chicken, Nuoc Cham Sauce, Dragon Spring Roll(Prawns), Crisp Fried Lamb With Chillies And Spring Onions, Wasabi Sole Sui Mui, Sichuan Chicken Dimsum. If the starters can be so elaborate please wait till the main course and the desserts are served.For sweet tooth aficionados on menu we have Ice cream spring rolls and coconut, lime crème brulle apart from other delicacies.

While speaking on the occasion, Arindam Chakraborty General Manager, Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana said, “We have introduced the Chinese Valentine’s Day to the city for the first time.
