The 65th Republic Day function being celebrated at Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala on Sunday, the chief guest Pramod Kumar, General Manager, RCF, speaks on the occasion.
Kapurthala/Jalandhar, January 28, 2014: 65th Republic Day function was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the premises of Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala on Sunday.
National Flag was hoisted by the chief guest Pramod Kumar, General Manager, RCF. Later, Kumar took salute from different contingents. In his address, he said the Indian Railways was continuous on the path of progress. He added RCF had completed 25 years of its foundation. During this period, 28,000 coaches had been manufactured and dedicated to the Indian Railways, he said. He announced that a target of manufacturing 1,609 coaches during current fiscal would be completed. he said RCF had manufactured 1,190 passenger coaches by end of December, 2013. AC double décor manufactured by RCF had got special identity, he said.
