Chandigarh, November 5, 2014: The Rural Development & Panchayats department had decided to organise various sports tournaments. These were to be held at block level from 1st to 10th November, at district level from 15th to 20th November and at state level in the last week of November.
Disclosing this here today the Rural Development & Panchayats Minister Punjab, Sikander Singh Maluka said that now it has been decided that due to Nagar Panchayat and Municipal Council elections, these tournaments will now be held in the month of February next year. Intimation regarding the change in the schedule of these tournaments has been sent to all concerned.
