Ludhiana, March 28, 2015: Sant Kamal Kishore, Founder of Shoonya Foundation, Saharanpur today donated blood for the 128th time and claimed of setting a new national record of donating blood for 128th time in India.
Interacting with the media persons, he told that there were already two persons one each from Ahmedabad and Pune. Both these persons had donated their blood for 125 times. 
Sant Kamal Kishore donated his blood at a blood donation camp at Chana Palace, near Samrala Chowk, Ludhiana today. This blood donation camp was organised on the occasion of opening of branch of Shoonya Foundation. 
Sant Kamal Kishore told that it was about 40 years ago when he had first donated his blood at a blood donation camp held at Ludhiana. 
He said donating blood was a noble cause and everybody should do it because donated blood could save lives of people in need of blood due to one or another reasons. 
Around fifty other persons, including men and women, donated their blood at the today’s camp.
Sant Kamal Kishore told that Shoonya Foundation was set up way back in 2012 and since then it had a covered a very successful journey. He said the Foundation was engaged in social and other activities. Since then, the Foundation’s 22 offices had been set up across the country. The Ludhiana’s newly opened office was first in Punjab, he said, adding they motivate people for blood donation, eye donation and brotherhood. So far, the Foundation had organised around two thousand Ayurvedic consultancy camps across the country, he revealed.
