Shaheed Bhagat Sehyog and Welfare Society, Ludhiana organising function to pay tributes to martyrs.

Ludhiana: Shaheed Bhagat Sehyog and Welfare Society organised a function to pay tributes to Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev in Shaheed Bhagat Park, Ludhiana. Tanveer Singh Dhaliwal, Councillor of the area by paying tributes said that despite the young age of Bhagat Singh, he had a vast vision of independent India where every one would get equal opportunity in social justice and share in the country's wealth. Manjit Singh Mehram Former Media Advisor said in a democracy public has a power to pull out democracy from the clutches of the corrupt and criminals who exploit the public for their vested interests and gains with ill gotten wealth rather than working for the welfare of the society. Charan Singh Sarabha, Trade Union Leader appealled to the gathering to study and understand the philosophy of Bhagat Singh so that his dreams be fulfilled. Tajinder Singh Dhillon, Retired Inspector General of Police stressed upon the need to educate the youth, moral values of life and make them to understand the ideology of Bhagat Singh through which our society could be free from wrong and corrupt practices.
Satinder Singh Kakkar President of the society, Amarjit Singh Sidhu Patron, Gurcharan Singh Hira Patron, Nahar Singh Deputy Education Officer, O.P. Madan General Secretary and Pran Nath Bhatia Ex-Counceillor also paid tributes Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.
