Shobana, dancer, filmstar, Vinetian Carnival Artists enthral at Punnami Fest

Kurnool, June 11, 2017: Rain didn't dampen the spirit of the people of the region to enjoy Punnami Orvakal Full Moon Festival on Saturday night.

On the day two of the festival on Saturday, large number of people arrived at the festival to watch and enjoy various cultural programs lined up for them.

The night began with Black Sheep band performing an opening act. Rain disturbed the performance for a little while, but local artists engaged jam packed crowd. The cultural programs resumed soon after rain stopped.

Padmashri Shobana, the Bharatha Natyam dancer, film star and her team took the stage by storm. She enthralled the audience with her mesmerizing 50 minute performance.

Butta Renuka, the local MP felicitated Shobana. Speaking on the occasion Butta Renuka said that she witnessed a most amazing performance. She appreciated Tourism Department for their initiative in popularizing the historic Rock Formations at the Orvakal.

Speaking on the occasion, immediately after her performance, Shobana said that she was honoured by performing at the one of the oldest rock formations of the world and the first ever Punnami Orvakal Full Moon Festival.

Illusion Artists, Vinetian Carnival artists left their mark on the artists. These performances came as a big surprise to few thousands of local audience who haven't ever witnessed such performance live at Orvakal.

Many people saw checking up various stalls and the products on the display at the festival.

Adventure Activities engaged many visitors all through the day on Saturday.
