Hyderabad, October 7, 2017: Silent Auction of Unique items and artefacts donated from SKAL Members from across the world held at ongoing 78th SKAL World Congress.

The Silent auctions are auctions held without an auctioneer. People place their bids on sheets of bid papers placed infront of the items to be auctioned. There were about 25 items some of which include Trojan Horse, Ceramic Plate, Decorative and Art Design Bowl, Wooden Wall Haning Mask Carving, Porcelean Sultan Kasthan from Turkey, BraceletOpal from Austalia, A 100 percent Silk Tie from Alanya Design from Turkey, Meerschaum Pipe, Handmade Pipe both from Turkey, Eimin Sarper and other.

These are the valuble and collector items donated by SKAL members from across the world. These marvel pieces are donated SKAL members of Turkey, Australia, Finland, Nigeria, Finland. The proceeds of bid collection will be used for the good casue taken up by the SKAL.

Nearly 25000 US Dollars is expected to be raised from the silent auction.

Trojan Horse is a huge hollow wooden horse constructed by the Greeks to gain entrance into Troy during the Trojan War. Trojan Horse is the symbol of trojan war says the information sheet placed at Silent Auction along with the item, the Trojan Horse to be auctioned.

Decorative and Art Design Bowl on the bid was a symbol of Anatolian Civilization, Hittite Sun.

Wooden Wall Haning Mask Carving is an African Wall Hung Mask Carving from Nigeria.

Besides some unique items, there were some tour packages.

The Auction Bids are expected till Sunday and will be closed by the end of the four day SKAL Congress on Sunday.
