Chandigarh, November 6, 2015: Snowman Logistics Limited, the largest integrated temperature controlled logistics service provider in the country is pleased to announce the second quarter financial results. The Company continues to keep up with its expansion plans. The total warehousing capacity as on date stands at 94,500 pallets.
The Company’s revenues for Q2FY16 increased by 19% to Rs.57.66 crores from Rs. 48.27 crores in the same period last year. The EBITDA for the quarter increased by 11% to Rs11.05 crores compared to Rs. 9.93 crores.
Net profit was up 28% to Rs.2.94 crores from Rs.2.29 crores over the same period of the previous year. Net profit, however, was down 48 % from Rs 5.5 Cr. (Q-1) to Rs 2.94 Cr. (Q-2).
Management’s Comments
Commenting on the results, Mr. Prem Kishan Gupta (Chairman) said :
The performance of the Company during the quarter has been in line with our expectations. The second half of the year, is normally when business in our industry peaks and the same is bound to reflect in the performance of the Company.
