Jalandhar, October 18, 2015: SPICMACAY organised a cultural programme in Cambridge International School for Girls featuring performances by renowned Indian classical artists recently.
SPICMACAY organised this show to make students more aware about Indian and world heritage. The students from Cambridge International school for girls, Cambridge international school co-ed, Cambridge IB participated in this event. Pandit Bhajan Sopori a renowned Santoor player and Mr.Mithilesh a renowned Tabla player were the chief guests .They said this type of initiative makes education more holistic and meaningful as it highlights all that is abstract, subtle, inspiring and mystical in the world teaching one to look within oneself. Through this cultural programme students of Cambridge international school got an opportunity to interact with such an artist of international repute.The successful hosting of the event was made possible by the efforts of School’s chairman Mr. Ajay Bhatia, Director of LWES Mr. J.K. Kohli, Principal Ms. Deepa Dogra, Vice principal Ms.Preeti Sharma , Coordinators Ms. Jasjeet kaur, Ms. Deepti, Ms. Richa Sharma, Ms. Meenu kumar and all the teachers of Music Deptt. Ms. Geetanjali, Ms. Karan, Mr. Vikramjeet Singh.
