Splash 2017-Combo Party at Ludhiana Group of Colleges

Ludhiana, November 15, 2017: A ‘combo’ party Splash 2017 to welcome the freshers and simultaneously accord warm farewell to final year students was held at Ludhiana Group of Colleges (LGC), Chaukiman. It was a blend of the ‘raw’ and ‘trained’ engineers.
It all started with the ‘Ganesh Vandana’ and culminated with Giddha and Bhangra- the Shaan of Punjabi culture which was sandwitched with other cultural activities like fashion show, Punjabi & Hindi dance, folk songs, skit, mime besides rap. The winners were presented with mementos and certificates.
The function was chaired by Mr.Gurmeet Sachdeva, Mr.Rajeev Gulati and Mr.Vikram Grover; members of the College Management while Guest of Honour was Mr.Tony Verma- president of Jagraon based NGO-Supreme Welfare Society who was much impressed by the multifaceted personality of budding engineers.
The welcome speech was delivered by Dr. J.K. Chawla-Director of LGC followed by word of advice by Dr.Jaskiron Kaur- principal of Management Wing and Mr. M.S.Dhaliwal, Principal Polytechnic.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. A.K. Singh, principal of engineering wing.
