Ludhiana, December 30, 2016: Punjab's second Ambulatory Van for forlorn animals was flagged off by Member of Parliament Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu and Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat in the presence of other officials from outside Deputy Commissioner office, here today. While speaking on the occasion, Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu said that this ambulatory van would prove very beneficial for the speechless creatures of God, who are often left high and dry to face the vagaries of nature, by the unconcerned owners.

The funds for this have been arranged under MPLAD Scheme by the efforts of Mr Ravi Bhagat, Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana and ex-officio President of District Animal Welfare Society. Miss Apneet Riyait ADC (D) informed that this facility will be available to anybody who wants to shift these animals to District Animal Welfare Society, Village Burj Pawat, Tehsil Samrala, where adequate care of these destitute animals will be managed by an NGO-Dhayan Foundation.
