Chandigarh, February 24, 2013: Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal on Sunday greeted the people on the eve of Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravidas.
Felicitating the people the Deputy Chief Minister said that Guru Ravidas embodied the spirit of humility and human dignity. He said that the message of Guru Ravidas has been a source of knowledge and wisdom for whole society. His life and teachings would always inspire us to create a humane and just society, where every individual is given due dignity, regardless of his or her caste, creed, religion or gender, he added.
Sukbir Singh Badal said that his message of love, compassion and equality would continue to inspire us and our coming generations to serve humanity with dedication and devotion in times to come.
