Tewari hails one rank, one pension decision

Ludhiana, February 17, 2014: Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari today welcomed the decision of the government of India to grant one rank one pension to the ex-servicemen.
In a statement issued here today, Tewari thanked the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the Finance Minister P Chidambaram for conceding this demand of the ex-servicemen of the country. He pointed out, this decision will help tens of thousands of ex-servicemen in Punjab.
The minister also hailed other major decisions in the budget. He said, the Finance Minister had done a great job by not imposing any new taxes as also providing relief in several sectors.
