Jalandhar, July 31, 2013: There is apprehension of spread of an epidemic in Basti Peer Dad here, as sewerage in the area is choking because of under-construction of the main sewerage.
The area residents feared that the authorities must swing into immediate action otherwise there is serious threat of spreading of an epidemic. There prevailed complete insanitation, they said.
They said the municipal authorities must keep into mind that human lives are very precious, therefore, there should be kept no chance of negligence.
