Dharamsala, August 30, 2013: Balbir Thakur, SSP, Kangra district at Dharamsala said that 2.5 kg charas was recovered from two persons travelling in a car.
He said the accused have been identified as Mohd of Gadfari PO Nakrod, Tehsil Churah District Chamba and Chain Lal of Barahda PO Tikkri Ghar Tehsil Churah District Chamba.
A case under various Sections of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
In a separate case Joginder Pal of Bangehar PO Ghallour Tehsil Jawalamukhi was also taken into custody today after 336 gram poppy husk was recovered from him. He has also been booked under the NDPS Act.
