TUs condemn lathicharge on teachers

Ludhiana, August 6, 2012: D.P.Maur – General Secretary Joint Council of Trade Unions Ludhiana and State Committee Member All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) and Gurmail Singh Medle – President PSSF Ludhiana have strongly condemned lathicharge on the contract teachers of Sarv Sikhia Abhiyan, RAMSA and Centrally Sponsored Schemes yesterday at Ludhiana.

“It is shameful that instead of fulfilling their election promise to give full pay scales to these teachers, the government has instead resorted to repressive  measures”, they remarked.

Supporting the demands of the teachers and their genuine agitation these leaders emanded from the government to meet their all demands immediately
