Hyderabad, July 14, 2017: Two Day Banjara Busieness Mela, an exhibition will be held by budding Women Entrepreneurs/Start Ups in the city from 18th to 19th July. It will be held at Kutchi Bhavan, Ramkote, Hyderabad from 9am to 6pm. All are welcome. There is no entry fee.

This event enables lades to showcase their creativity and entrepreneur skills. The aim of this Mela is to empower the ladies who do not get the platform, support, capital, and opportunity.

Women are born entrepreneurs. Women have been entrepreneurs in different ways. A house wife is an entrepreneur as she manages her time, strategizes and plans on ways to secures her children’s future, passionate about her home and family and wears so many more different hats for a successful life informed with Jcrt Aruna Daliya, Chairperson 2017.

Banjara Mela is a platform created and developed by two women Namrata Baldwa and Minakshi Bhuraria seven years ago for budding business women to showcase their creativity, enterpreneruship skills. It is now in its 8th edition.

It is organised as part of the Business Community Development and Training for women by Jayceeret wing of Banjara Hyderabad. JCI Banajara Hyderabad is a primary unit of Junior Chamber International (JCI), a non-profit international non-governmental organization of young people between 18 and 40 years old

Banjara Mela is platform created exclusively for the 150 to 200 budding women entrepreneurs to showcase their products either created/manufactured or sourced from different parts of the world matching the current trends. The cost effective products such as Jewelry, Western & Traditional Dresses, Sarees, Footwear, Bags, Gifts, Home Décor & Life Style Products. The two day fair hopes to attract a footfall of more than 10000 visitors.

Women entrepreneurship has been recognised as an important source of economic growth. Women entrepreneurs create new jobs for themselves and others and also provide society with different solutions to management, organisation and business problems.

The Banajra Business Mela is coordinated by Aarti Baldwa, Anita Surana, Beena Dassani., Bharti Jain, Jyothi Maheshwari, Kavita Agarwal Pooja Rathi, Pushpa Biyani, Sangeeta Bansal.
