Two more victims of rash driving in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, February 7, 2017: Two persons including one woman died in a road accident which took place at Ferozepur-Ludhiana road (NH-95) last night. The deceased have been identified as Amarjit Kaur (25) and Parminder Singh. Both of them were part of a dance group belonging from Ferozepur. Last night, they, along with other members of their group, were returning from Baghapurana near Moga district after attending a marriage function on a scorpio jeep. Unfortunately, their over speed jeep hit a tractor trolley which was coming from opposite direction. The impact proved fatal and Amarjit and driver Parminder died on the spot while other members identified as Narinder Singh, Baljit Singh and Riya were severely injured.
A case was registered at Talwandi Bhai police station.
It is pertinent to mention here that in a heart rendering incident, four persons including a woman and a child died yesterday in a road accident which took place yesterday near Makhu.
