Vivicam Entertainment celebrates success of YDK Main leads Varun Sharma & Hardy Sandhu

Chandigarh, March 2, 2014: The star cast of the forthcoming magnum opus Punjabi movie “Yaaran Da Katchup” alongwith its producer Vikram Bansal assembled today at Chandigarh to share & celebrate the success of its main lead Varun Sharma who proved his acting mettle in his debut role itself by winning much coveted Zee Cine film awards and star guild awards in a best comic role category. In addition to this he has been able to lap up the nomination in the same category in to be held Stardust Awards and IIFA Awards. Varun has brought laurels to the Punjabi film industry as he happens to be the first Hindi film actor who is acting in Punjabi Film now to have won these prestigious award.
The press conference also celebrated the recent success of famous singer and one of the main leads Hardy Sandhu’s single SOCH. The female lead of the movie Yuvika Chaudhary has also been recently nominated as best female debutant in Punjabi movies for her role in Daddy Cool Munde Fool by PTC Awards. On the occasion the first look of the film was also unveiled for media fraternity.
It’s noteworthy to mention here that Yaaran Da Katchup is a maiden punjabi venture of Vivicam entertainment set to release in July 2014 happens to be the perfect melange of Bollywood and Pollywood.  It’s splendid cast features comedians Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N. Sharma, Rana Ranbir; TV serial and Bollywood actor Anita Hassanandani, OM Shanti Om fame Yuvika Chaudhary, Fukrey fame ‘Choocha’ Varun Sharma, Pollywood beauty Manreet Kaur, glamorous model from Shimla Shagun Jaswal, famous yoga trainer and theatre artist Anil Juneja, singer Hardy Sandhu and TV serial actor Ranjan Sehgal.
The USP of the film is it’s storyline and the various characters written in it. The Film tries to bridge the gap through genuine characters that appear so real and easy to relate to.  For that our main focus was choosing the cast accordingly. When the characters appear to be real, even comedy comes naturally.
The script of the film is written by theatre artist Rubina. The various action sequences in the film which will be taken care by the renowned action director from South, K Ganesh Kumar. Music of the film has been composed by B. Praak, GK, Gurnazar and Sahil. Famous playback singers like Alisha Chinoy, Labh Janjua ,Hardy Sandhu , Gurnazar and Sahil have provided their voices to the lilting music. Shot in virgin and exotic locales of Thailand, Yaaran Da Katchup, a lavishly mounted movie with ensemble star cast will indeed be a treat to watch
