The festive season with Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra and Diwali contributes a large amount to the annual revenue of any e-commerce venture as it is considered auspicious to buy new things in this period. E-commerce ventures usually see their daily order volume going up by 3-4 times compared to a normal day during the rest of the year. This year however, Wakefit has seen an incredible rise in the daily order volume go up to nearly 1000% during the peak festive days and sale days resulting in around 780 products ordered per day. This translates to one order every 2 minutes during a 24-hour period!
