WEATHER: Dry cold wave sweeping Himachal

Dharamsala (HP), November 22, 2012: As the High reaches of Himachal Pradesh are waiting for snow, the entire state is reeling under the cold conditions.

During the past 48 hours the sky remains mainly cloudy dipping down further the day temperature however night temperature is recorded below zero to 9.9 degree Celsius as western disturbances is prevailing in the state making the sky cloudy even on Thursday.

Minimum Temperature of Keylong recorded  was the lowest in the state that is minus 0.7degrees Celsius. The Kalpa in Kinnaur was low at 1.4 degrees, tourist resort Manali was at 5.5 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu was 3.0 degrees, Solan 4.0 degrees, Sundernagar 4.2 degrees, Mandi 5.5 degrees, Shimla7.6 degrees, Palampur 7.0 degrees and Dharamshala 8.8 degrees Celsius, respectively. Maximum temperature of Shimla was 15.9 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi district 18.6 degrees, and Bhunter 19 degrees, Kalpa 15.2 degrees, Dharamshala 22.2 degrees, Una 25.4 degrees, Nahan 22.8 degrees and Solan 21.5 degrees

The Met office forecast mainly dry weather in next 4 days.
