Hyderabad, March 24, 2017: FICCI FLO member learned lessons from Hitachi Consulting India Managing Director. He was in an interactive session with 150 members of the FLO.

Welcoming the gathering Padma Rajgopal, Chairperson of FLO Hyderabad said Feroze is a passionate leader with over 20years of experience in the IT Consulting industry with a unique combination of experience in IP development, global delivery of IT Services etc.

Speaking on the sidelines addressing a press conference prior to the session, Feroze shared about “Hitachi Video Analytics”, a public safety product they launched for smart cities. He explained how it supports the vision of safer and smarter cities and industries. It can count people, analyze traffic, provides insights into the usage of public spaces and infrastructure. They are in talks with several state and central governments about the product and possibility of its usage in Smart Cities Plans.

We have unveiled this New Video Analytics Software To Deliver Operational Intelligence and Security Insights for Smart Cities and Digital Enterprises, he told. It provides Rich Insights, Real-Time Alerts and Other Enhancements To Increase Efficiencies, and Enhance Safety and Services, he told.

This products was unveiled to enhance and extend our Smart City and Public Safety solutions portfolio. Hitachi Video Analytics (HVA) combines computer vision and advanced analytics to extract rich insights and generate real-time alerts that can provide cities, airports, campuses, transportation agencies, and businesses with Operational and business intelligence, he explained

Airports can use HVA to help enhance safety for travelers and also to detect long queues and optimize staffing at security checkpoints or enhance passport control processes in customs. As a result, passengers can get through more efficiently and spend time shopping, dining or enjoying attractions in their terminals, he shared.

The Tech enthusiast, Feroze Mohammed, Executive Vice President of Hitachi and MD of Hitachi Consulting India was in an interactive session with FLO members here in city today at Hotel Taj Krishna. Feroze Mohammed spoke about The World in 15years seeing through Crystal Ball Gazing. Crystal Gazging is a method for seeing visions achieved through trance induction by means of gazing at a crystal.

Speaking on the occasion he revealed very interesting details of how technology has been changing. World is going to change in next 10 /15years faster than it changed in 100years, he told them. He told them to be future ready. And quickly added that, if you want to be future ready, you need to create future. The future is going to be dominated by many revolutionary technologies, he told them.

He spoke about how Google, Facebook, Alibaba, Uber, Aribnb disrupted many business models in the world. Facebook is the world’s most popular media owner creates zero content. This is the reason why every business house today is concerned if their business is going to substituted by another disruptive business model. You need to change along with the changing times. You need to embrace technology, he told them.

Continue learning. Go for sustainable living. Co-exist and collaborate with intelligent machines. Be a global citizen. You have no choice he told them.

He illustrated how technology has been changing our lives. Virtual Reality is going to become mainstream much ahead of its time in next 15years, he told. He cited an example of humanoid robot in an airport in Japan which guides and walks along with people. Artificial Intelligence is emerging much faster. Time has come for us to live and work along with machines like humanoid robots, machine learning and internet of things, he said.

He spoke about revolutions in 3 D printing and how in Californian home prints their breakfast. You can print bones, print human body parts and there are endless possibilities with 3D printing. Today aircraft spare parts are made using 3D Printing. Our company is doing, so also others, he told much to the surprise of his audience.

Today industrial Robots are becoming more intelligent than before and able to work along with human beings. He spoke about Drone based delivery services and how cattle are counted in Africa and medicines are delivered in Australia using drones.

Speaking about Retail Innovations, he cited an example of AmazonGo, which is a brick-and-mortar grocery store, where you can just walk in to it, grab items, and leave. He talked about importance of Business Analytics and gave an example of some of the projects Hitachi was doing in UK where they give data of suspect population for Diabetics to governments, who will take preventive care save for money. He also highlighted how BitCoin is emerging as the alternative currency in the world. Bitcoin is one of the world’s best known digital currencies and has enjoyed huge success over recent years, informed Feroze.

Towards end he gave a list of Technologies that hold future. These technologies which will hold future include: True Smart Cities; Hyper Loop; Space Tourism; Flying Cars; Nano Robot Medicine that will customise medicine to different patients. The few things that will power all these new technologies are Artificial Intelligence; Genomics, Internet of Things and Analytics, he told them.

He asked his audience to be future ready. The only to be future ready is to create your own future, he told them.
