“Aparajithudu” Telugu version of “I will Survive” English book launched

Hyderabad, October 21, 2016: “Aparajithudu” Telugu version of “I will Survive” English book launched. Sunil Robert, a Telugu, Global Executive working with Corporate Communications of TCS in America published English version in 2010, which is now translated by city’s writer and poet Ms. Satya Bhavana.

The book published by Emesco Publishing House was formally launched in a special function held on Friday evening at Lamaakhan.

Psychiatrist, Personality Development Trainer, Dr. B.V. Pattabhiram, Mr. D. Chandrasekhar Reddy, Editor in Chief of Emesco Publishing graced the launch. The just launched Telugu Book Aparajithudu, was reviewed by S. Ramakrishna, senior journalist. Nearly 150 people graced the launch function.

A Hyderabadi man Sunil Robert made into headlines with his book comeback “I will Survive”, stories of a corporate warrior in the year of its launch.

Sunil’s best selling debut work - a rags to riches memoir 'I Will Survive' was launched in 2010. This was a bestseller endorsed by global leaders like Ratan Tata, S. Ramdorai (Former Chairman of the Governing Board of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, BSE Chairman and former adviser to the Prime Minister of India in the national council on skill development, Government of India), Dr. Kiran Karnik(former NASSCOM President) and Joseph Kennedy II, a well known American Senator.

As the eldest son from a lower middle class household, Sunil Robert began his life in Hyderabad spending his childhood without any worries. His family, though poor, was well respected in the community. Robert was popular among his friends. Life came to a rapid halt after his father lost his job and could not find another one. Robert, still very young, was forced to change with circumstances, coming to terms with his new responsibilities and learning to live with the stigma of a life on borrowed money, food, clothes and books.

As he struggled through his school and college days, he grew bitter and resentful towards his father, his extended family and the community which he lived in. Robert found himself getting involved with the local mob. However, before things got worse, Robert decided to take control of his life. With the help and support of his family and the local community, he got his life back on track. He got a job and decided never to venture back to those dark days again.

Through the rest of the memoir, Robert summarises his rise as a corporate communicator at the technology giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and how he eventually dealt with his harsh feelings. He learned to forgive, raised his family responsibly and finally achieved what he has made of himself today.
Sunil’s second English book 'Bound To Rise' has just been launched in India and has recommendations from leaders like Anand Mahindra(Chairman and MD of Mahindra Group), Natarajan Chandrasekaran(CEO and MD of Tata Consultancy Services) and Dr. Bala Balachandran(J. L. Kellogg Distinguished Professor of Accounting and Information Management at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Founder & Dean, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, India.).

Mr. Sunil Robert is currently working on his third book. He currently lives in USA. He is a Hyderabadi, Telugu man lived in Ramnagar.

Sunil is an Award Winning Communicator(“Stevie Award” touted as Oscars in Business World). He was Listed among the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business. He was the writer of Encyclopedia Britannica, India series. He is an avid marathon runner, he ran the top three marathons in the world.

Sunil Robert is also popular motivational speaker, leadership coach and an activist.

In his career spanning over 25years he worked with reputed companies like Eureka Forbes, Acer, iflex/Oracle and TCS.

His mission is to 'change the world through his communications skills'.

He has delivered training programs to engineers and executives working in Fortune 50 corporations like Target, Apple, Walgreens, Home Depot, AIG, Bank of America and other leading firms.

He regularly visits jails in America to teach jail inmates life skills like Communications and Public Speaking.

He is a member of Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills

He was recently selected by iCONGO for the Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship award for his effort to inspire India's youth and is listed among the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business.
