“CHINA PRINT 2013” from May 14 to 18

Ludhiana, March 1, 2013: “China Print 2013” will be held from May 14 to 18  this year at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing (NCIEC).

With almost 30 years of development and the great progress of China’s printing industry, China Print has become one of the major printing shows in the world.

In fact it is perhaps the second largest biggest print show.

According to Xie Senshu, Vice Secretary General of PEIAC and General Manager of CPSC said, “The sale work has come into an end. More than 1000 exhibitors in 1, 60,000 sqm exhibition area will display their products and it will be 60% more than the last edition of China Print. The estimated visitors’ entries will reach 1,80,000 and it will be a new record.”

Yu Biao, General Manager, CIEC Exhibition Company, said that PEIAC and the Chinese industry fully supports Printpack 2013 and over 30 exhibitors from China have participated with a total stand area of more than 1,000 square metres. He added that by 2017 the China Print exhibition area is expected to reach 200,000 square metres.

Govind Bhargava, president, AIFMP, said, “We fully support China Print and look after bigger participation of Indian Printers in the event. He said, the increment of 60% in this edition of China Print shows the efforts of organisers. China Print is a show with higher standard infrastructure, facilities and arrangements. We also wish that it will become the top exhibition worldwide.”

In a release here on Friday, Kamal Chopra, General Secretary OPA extended full support to China Print 2013 and assured a strong delegation with the support of Government of India, Ministry of MSME for the event from India. Narrating long business relation between India and China, he said, with mutual cooperation the printing and packaging industry of both the countries can become capable to be the factories of the world.

According to Dr Rajendra Anayath of Heidelberg, with the help of 5 ancient Chinese gifts – paper, printing, fireworks, compass and boat – the Europeans have dominated the world, and now it is the turn of China. He cited the name of great Xuanzang to who travelled India between the years 630-640 to learn Sanskrit and in search of peace and teaching of Budhism. India and China has long relations and jointly we can achieve any goal Prof. Anayath added.
